What GNOT has done so far
Every node set up with GNOT carries a public note on its setup transaction: Set up with GNOT. This page counts those nodes straight from the Gonka chain, every hour, and links each one to its transaction so anyone can check.

How this is counted
A node counts when a transaction signed by its own wallet carries the note 'Set up with GNOT'. GNOT adds it to the permission transaction every setup sends, and says so on its welcome screen. The note contains nothing about the person. Anyone could write the same note on their own transaction, but nobody gains anything from that, and every entry links to its transaction so it can be checked. GitHub counted 41 downloads of the app. Every release is a required update, so the computer this app is built on downloads each version too; taking off one copy per version leaves 30 downloaded by other people.
Those 30 are downloads, not people — a computer downloads again each time the app updates. But a computer only ever downloads a given version once, and version 1.0.2 alone was downloaded 15 times, so there were at least 14 other computers. The most there could be is 30, if no two downloads were ever the same machine. The real number is somewhere in between.
From version 1.3.0 this guesswork ends: the install command and the app's own updater fetch different files, so the table below counts installs and updates separately and exactly.

These come from the app itself. Each copy sends a daily total: how many answers it received, how many tokens they used, which models and which services, and a random number that stands for that computer so two are not counted as one. It never sends what anyone typed, the answers, an API key, a wallet, a name or an email — and the setup side of the app sends nothing at all. The app says the same thing on its own screen, and anyone can read the code that does it.

What you will not find here: what anyone typed, what came back, or who they are. The app has no accounts and never sends a word of anyone's conversation. What it does send is on this page: how many answers and how many tokens, so the effect of this work can be seen.
